Lightbulb Ideas for a new bodykit

Hey guys. I am looking for ideas or suggestions to make a new bodykit for the 350Z. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated and a help because I don't know where to start (ie. designing something extreme or something plain).

Cool

IMO, I think you should concentrate on the rear spoiler, that's where the car needs attention, but no big bookshelf wings, please. Spoilers from late 300's can give you a cue, and then add your personal touch. The skirts shouldn't be to wide or stick out, and the front bumper could use a grille insert. This beautiful car doesnt' need much to improve natural good looks, So you sould try to Keep It Simple.

Front Bumper:
Around where that license plate frame area is the greatest amount of air pressure build up the car sees aerodynamically. It creates a stagnation point where the air doesnt go up or down.. thats basically free energy sitting there. what you could do is open that area up, with a intake hole/square/rectangle whatever and channel that air up toward the air box. with all that air forcing directly in. you get a ram air affect.
if you want to help out with traction in the front, extending the front lip a little closer to the ground and pushing it outward with a mini fin (called Dive Plates) in the front will help out with downforce. these only cause small drag increments but the amount of traction increase would negate the effects. if the stangation point is above the plate-- then the high pressure above it will force the front end down.. you must watch out as not to have the splitter TOO long, else it will just increase drag.

Hood:
Same deal here. Alot of ppl are complaining with the engine being so packed in, there needs to be a bit more air exchange. you can put a vent in there, but you have to watch out, cuz the drag increment and pressure changes it causes will affect how much air gets sucked out. putting a mini hood scoop facing forward wont do much unless you're over the boundary layer over the surface.. i.e. probably less than 1/2 inch the way our car is shaped.. BUT if you do put a scoop. it might screw up the air flow over the center of the car. so perhaps putting these vents near the edges of the hood, closer to the windsheild.. sorta like a half pyramid (slant side facing forward) to suck the hot air out.

Under front wheel wells-
perhaps place a small verticle fin infront of the two wheels. due to the fact that air flow over the tires will cause air to swirl forward. i would like to see a mini block there as not to disturb air flow under the car.

rear diffuser:
that rear bumper? that would be great if you had the underside slightly sloped UP wards and have something similar to the NISMO rear skirts as to suck air up and out to get a low pressure zone.. the air flow over the rear wheels will have a tendency to suck up and around the rear bumper... that's fine, but you just want the air underneath the car right now to exit rear and not leak out from the sides...

if you're serious about making a bad *** kit. just make it functional and for sure ppl will buy it.
i'm skeptical on alot of body kits that companies make for looks that adversely affect the car..

Default my $0.02...

you should try to make the INGS+1 half kit a bit smoother (just an idea since messing with perfection is stupid)...

notice how the rear is an add-on. make it an entire rear bumper. the front is like that too. also, NO fiberglass material cuz that sh*t is gonna shatter...
oh yeah, make the kit CHEAP (in price, not in quality)
