Default racing seats

I've been wanting to get racing seats and ive found a pair I like and that I have enough money to pay for. http://www.shophyperformance.com/store/001306.html

So my question is if any of you think that those seats would be a good idea to put into my Z. If they would work. And what all I would need to buy for the seats.

... Isn't Matrix that APC crap sold at autozone? I'd rather have stock seats than those.

I guess you can't beat the price though. $449 for 2 seats with sliders! You get what you pay for.

Don't do it. Those are fugly cheap seats. Not only with they look terrible, but will undoubtedly be horribly uncomfortable. Save your money and do it the right way if your going to do it.

if you can only afford $300-$500, then get some nonadjustable sparco's or brides. but I'd suggest saving up some more money and getting a better set.

If you want good seats you have to spend the money. A decent set of Sparco's with sliders will cost you but are worth it.

The cheapest bride seat is 495 each w/o sliders. Final price for a set of brides w/ brackets before shipping is going to be 1350 minimum then add about 75-125 for shipping.

I think he can find them cheaper if he shops around. even ebay vendors have pairs for cheaper...intense power has a set for $468 (although I don't know about the fit.

if you are after an inexpensive seat, but don't want to deal with driving in a bucket all day long (ie one where you cannot adjust the seatback position), I'd recommend looking into Corbeau CR1's

http://corbeau.com/products/cr1/cr1.shtml#

They happen to be very comfortable for the average American physique, and the new microseude fabric looks fantastic and wears very well. I have a picture of a set in a customers STi, in case you want to get a real feel for the actual "look"

If you can swing a bit more money, Recaro SRD's

The bride pro's are the ones for sub 500 i was talking about....both those ebay ads though are fake brides. The first one says Bride style, and the second one says variant bride brix. It also a dead give away because it is 600 buy it now for two when the real things are 840 each...http://www.i-m-racing.com/brbriise.html

Those seats are cheap. Why would you sacrifice safety over some 450 dollar seats.

Get some Bride, Recaro, Sparco seats. You always get what you pay for.

I would say Corbeaus are your best bet. I had the CR1s and currently have the FX1 Pros and loved them both. Their brackets do sit a little higher than stock though so if thats going to bother you, get some custom ones made.
