Time to spend..
So, I've got my car..got my wheels, lowering kit, headers, exhaust, intake, grill and such..but now I have $1,500. So my question is could some people give me some ideas of things to do to the car please!! I know you guys have some awesome ideas! I'm only 17 and just worked all summer for part of it and the rest of my money went into insurance and the bank so I'm really looking forward to getting to do a lil something to my car.

i'm guessing since he posted this in the body/exterior/interior forum he isn't looking for performance mods (if he was i would say go for a UTEC).
If you want exterior, my favorite kit is the veilside V1 front and rear with Greddy sides. There are an endless number of body kits though... you just have to research and find which one you like.
Tell me more what YOU are interested in and I'll see what I can do to help.
If you want interior, you can get a carbon fiber dash, or painted dash, and some seats/seat covers. Recaro and Sparco are good, but there are more obviously.
If you want sound you could get a decent head unit/speakers/sub to replace the stock system for that $1500.

I was looking for ideas for performance and interior/exterior. I want my car to perform more than it does but I don't want to have to be worrying about the parts not working. And, I've read about the plenum spacers actually hurting the performance and 1/4 mile times. But yeah, I'm looking at performance and interior/exterior just wanting to see my options since I will end up doing all of it eventually.

computer management systems like a Greddy emanage, UTEC, or any number of other systems usually work well and free up a lot of power. You could also look into having a reflash done on your stock ecu.
for $1500 you could get the greddy/veilside kit and get it painted, maybe even get a hood or wing with it. Look around the classifieds, usually you can get a pretty awesome deal in there

The plenum spacer in some cases might hurt 1/4 because of lack of tune. I say you get a plenum or spacer which ever you choose, and then get a tune. With your current mods, plenum, the tune will top it off and you will see some decent power gain. Thats just what I would do short of saving the money for FI. Goodluck.

I have an 03 which i think is the 287, and will the body shop be able to match my paint very well? And what are some of the most popular lip kits, and how do I go about getting them in the classifieds. And how do the greddy engine management systems work? Would I be able to do them myself? And one more question what would you guys do if you wanted to use your Z on the track?

theres a road course in Iowa I'll be going to. And I'm not having you decide for me I just want to know what people have been doing that worked out well for them and liked enough that they would want to advise it for other people.

Check out the Veilside V1 or USDM Nismo lip. They're the only lips I'd put on a Z without side skirts. Then check out the Greddy skirts. A bodyshop should be able to get real close on the paint. I know the one I use will mix it until they get it right. They won't need to blend anything for just a lip and skirts. You'd probably be looking at around $300 to get the pieces painted. As for performance, like the other guys said, you'll need to let us know what your goals are.

Well, I think I want to buy a nismo v.2 front bumper..but I'm not sure what paint would cost on a front bumper and how well they would be able to match up the paint. And, then the cost for a new grill and installation.
