Hey, i just bought an aerosync bumper and have a couple questions for all of you with the same bumper.

1) how much did you pay to get it painted? also, what is a good price for paint if prep work is already done? (primed and wet sanded already)

2) Is $330 a good deal? I got it with prep work done, unpainted.

3) Where did you mount your license plate, if at all?

4) If you haven't mounted your license plate on the bumper, is it illegal in your state and have you gotten in trouble for it yet?

 

I don't remember how much I paid to get it painted, I think it was in the ball park of 300-400.

I mounted the front plate with the Z bracket. Before I got this however, I got 2 tickets for not having the plate properly mounted. However I know some states you can get away with it, so check your DMV for info.

 

I also paid around $400 bucks so the deal ur getting is pretty good. just make sure they do quality work.

 

330 is good if it includes everything.. I paid $350 cash in chicago, and that's a pretty good deal for here. Nope, dont have my license plate on, never do even though it's a law. They really only get picky about it if you park downtown in Chicago. In those cases that I have to park on the street, I have something rigged I put on until I get back into the car. If you dont go with a plate, please paint the center portion a flat black so it doest stick out like a soar thumb. here's my front:

 

sorry, i have made question #2 decieving. I meant that I bought the bumper itself for $330, prepped and unpainted. i haven't painted it yet. is that still good?

Hey jada - im guessing your Z is an 06 as well (not sure about fitment)? I am considering buying the aerosync and i was wondering if all the stock mounting hardware is the same, including the front metal bar? thanks!
