It will keep other parts of your interior parts from fading, just not your leather. It will block off UV light that will damage your cars interior and your own skin. Ive seen cars with plastic pieces fade really bad and reach a point where the pieces start to crack. Plus it looks good from outside, hinders things that you may leave in you car and if a window shatters you wont have a bunch of little pieces to pick up. Yup thats about it.

Even more crappy pics! It looks darker than it really is in these pics, but tint always does look different depending on the lighting.

Like I said it's not really that dark, you can see right in.

I know someone in another post was asking how the tint worked out over the dots in the center. Mine turned out great, The glass is dirty in this shot, there's nothing wrong with the tint. And that's the reflection of the parking permit you see in the dots.

If you look through the back glass in this shot you can clearly see the signs on the wall in front of the car.

Just carry a razor blade scraper with you. That way if you get in an accident you're insurance company can't argue negligence.
I don't care about the car or it's looks as much as I do mine. Cancer is a b*tch and you really ought to do as much as possible to block exposure to that nuclear blast furnance in the sky.
