Default Tips on Wraping headliner???

Today I purchased 2 yards of suede to wrap my headliner in. Does anyone have any pointers on this install? What type of glue? Do I remove OEM material? etc.

any help apreciated. thanks

yes remove oem material...3m makes spray adhesive in a spray can that will work...spray new fabric and headliner and let glue get tacky then put them together and smooth it out. oh and remove headliner from car fist....u should kno that of course...

a little ...just gotta work it into the curves and play with it...its a huge pain in the butt to get into the curves real smooth...start in the middle and work your way out to the sides...its probably just easier to pay someone who has done it alot to do it for u.

^^I agree with this. Check into having someone do it for you. My upholstering shop almost backed out cause they were afraid the vinyl would eventually come loose. It still looks great, there's no way I would've been able to make it look as clean as they did.
