Nitrouz - you would fit perfectly into the GIAS then
ActionJackson - not true at all, you just need to pick the right seat. They have several offerings for people who are over a 34 inch waste. I am a 36 for example, about 5'11 and 190, and fit very nicely into an Ergo or a XAX, and a Stradia.
The GIAS and Stradia are quite comfortable and supportive if you are the right dimensions. The same can be said about any seat. It's about finding the seat that suits you well and that you like the looks/weight of. Lot's of people find the Z seats too big, lot's of others find them perfect (me). It is all relative to your size.
Honestly, the best bet is to sit in some and see for yourself. I've sat and driven cars with just about every seat out there. Bride continues to be among by favorites, as they combine relatively light weight, large amounts of recline with an overal comfy design. Recaro's are also at the top of my list, but not every seat design they have is terrific for ME. Cobra has some nice seats as well; in fact every major manufacturer out there has a seat that I've spent time in that fit me great. And each also has a seat that I couldn't stand for more than a few minutes. The worst thing you can do is go by how a seat "looks" to determine it's comfort. The ideal way is to sit in it. If that is not possible, take measurements of the stock seat in your car and make a list for yourself about what you like about the stock seats and what you wish you could change. From there, start looking at the manufacturer sites, as they all list comprehensive dimensions for their seats. Compare them for yourself, and then narrow the list further according to your budget and style, and you'll end up with a great seat for yourself.
We just did this very method when deciding on seats for one of our older Z's ('77 280). We had the list down to a Recaro, a couple of Bride's and a Cobra, and ended up with the Bride XAX - all without sitting in any of them in this particular car. When the seats finally went in, we were very pleased. Our homework definitely paid off.

yup I saw the dimensions for both seats. From what I gather, the Cobras are wider and longer than the Brides, but the Brides are slightly taller.
So what everyone has been saying is correct...that the Brides are more for tall thinner people.
But...my problem is...I'm not too familiar with the numbers on the sizing charts. I know they're in mm, but I don't know how that translates to the actual "sitting feel" of the seats...like how much wider does it have to be for my *** to not get tired...lol...
