Default Bride Gias comments?

hm...I'm starting to really like the Bride Gias...anyone have them? How do they feel on long drives?

I've sat in 1 briefly, but can't tell how it would feel when you're driving in it for a longer period of time...

Anyone care to comment?

Yay? Nay?

not a everyday seat, very little padding. I did a 4 hour drive to a show this weekend and my back was killing me when I got there.

Gias do get a bit uncomfortable. If your daily driving I suggest the Brix 2. I have them in my RSX and love them, very nice on my tooshy

I would also suggest the Brix, much more padding, I go on longer then usually drives alot.

But on a side note, those Gias are sick.

comfort depends on how big you are..

but they do make Stradias which looks basically like a Gia with a lower side support for comfort.. sort of like how they made the XAXII for bigger americans

Not a fan of the Bride name plastered many times on the lower back and bum area of the seat. I'm all for showing the brand name, but that is a bit cheesy.

My friend said that the overall design of the seat is very comfortable as far as the design of the shell and of course it looks really nice with the kevlar backing. His hang up was what people have been claiming which is that the padding is kind of lacking.

I sold mine to Siu (st350)

IMO the seat is comfortable. for long drives it will be killer on your back but i go used to it very quick. It's pretty damn low too. You also need to get used to getting in and out of it because if you don't know too it's a PITA. Feels AMAZING on turns though.

Post any more Q's if you wish.

We have them in our Evo - nice seat, and very light but if you're over 180 lbs, get the Stradia. As for the name being plastered, that depends how you order them You don't have to get it all over if you don't want it. If you do track days and drive the car on the street from time to time, they are great. If it's more of a daily driver, then some of the other Bride offerings are a better choice IMHO

Anything above a 34" waste size should seek another option.

I think anyone over a size 34 waist shouldn't be getting into any Bride seat. I'm 5'4 140 lbs and the Brix fits pretty snug to me
