Painted My Calipers (Brembo Gold Knock Off)
I actually painted my calipers about 3 months ago, but didn't get around to post it until now. I always wanted the Brembo Track brake pads b/c I love the orange-gold look, so I found a very similar color. The color is actually Copper, but you can barley notice. I don't have a very good camera and the pictures make it look very redish.

It is high temp paint. Believe it or not, it's paint people use for stove tops, fireplaces and BBQ pits. The brand is called "Stove Bright." The temperature rating is at 1200 degrees F. I have had it painted for 3-4 months so far, and absolutley no peeling. I sanded the calipers down really good, and then just sprayed them. The color is not an exact match for the brembos, so I wouldn't recommend mixing the colors together. If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM or email me at jonathand@avalamarketing.com.

In that case you should be good to go.
I got screwed. When I took my car to a wheel shop for an alignment, the tech there though it would "look better" to spray paint my calipers black with some cheap spray paint that peeled within 500 miles.
I should've sued their asses, but at the time I didn't care that much.

Sorry to hijack the thread but here's the link to that paint. I had to google it, they came out sweet.

And I'll wait for the OP to get back to me, but isn't 6324 Sunset a better color than 6320 Copper? OP said he used copper...http://www.forrestpaint.com/stovebri...age%20copy.pdf

If you go to auto parts stores you can pick up a kit made by Dupli-color for about $20 that's high-heat and made for these kinds of jobs. I did the black on my old car and it turned out nice. I plan to do my Z in red.

Forrest Paint sent me a sample of all the colors on a sheet. I thought copper looked closest to matching. I had to order my can through an online distributor, no store in stl carried it. I have had it on for about 1500 miles and drive to work everyday which consists of half city and half highway driving 35min total. No paint wear what so ever.
