Painted CF hood easy to get stone chips?

I'm getting a CF hood and wanting to paint it. My bodyshop told me that painted CF hood is easy to get stone chips than the original paint. Anybody had experience?

That's a load of crap. If prepped right it will be just as good as anything else.
