It really depends on your shifting style, or grip. Some like a ball to grip over the top, and some like to pistol grip, and some like me like both grips depending on what gear I'm at. The best one to accomodate your style? It's pretty obvious. For pistol grip style, use a long cylindrical shaped ones like the Nismo chrome, carbon fiber, black, or regular titanium. Use a ball like the ARC titanium, or similarly shaped one like the Nismo GT titanium. But if you like both grips, I find the stock shifter is best... and comes at no cost!!!

But lastly, if you have a weird *** grip like a cupping method with your palms up and the shaft between either your middle and index finger, or middle and ring finger... ie: arcade fighting game style... use only the ball type shifter... search on the internet for "Sanwa."

Sharif's machined shifter...for the Z. The one that looks like a butt-plug in pics but nicer in person.

It's weighted so it goes into the shift gates with no effort. I'm sure it can go into other things as well, but i'll keep that to myself.

The post above that refered to shifting style is VERY important. The Nismo ***** are really only good for pistol grip shifting. I picker one up and would have prefered to stay with the stock **** because of my preference in gripping the shifter... The craftmenship of the Nismo products is good, but looks/style should really be second when it comes to deciding on the best ****.

I have the Nismo black plastic **** and i love it. Feels perfect any way you grab it. Never gets hot in the sun of anything ethier. I hate the little metal strip on the stock ****. Burns the **** outta your hand when its hot out.

I have the black Nismo shift ****. No real problem with heat, even in Florida. My hands are quite large and the **** feels "small" sometimes, but is easy to put the tranny in gear. I'd give it a "9".

Mike (tried Momo and Nismo......considering the Evo-R beauty)

Don't you have the Evo-R one now? It was beautiful in the pictures.

Mike (thinks he remembers it with the red interior)
