Default Shaved Front Emblem - Looks Much Better

I just got my front emblem shaved this past weekend. IMO, it looks much cleaner and aggresive in the front without the huge nissan badge. Let me know what you guys think.

Sorry for the mediocre picture, I'll post some with my D50 this weekend once the weather clears up and I put my grill back on.

Damn, I had to do a double take, looks like a total custom bumper almost till you look it all over. Nice and clean man, did they paint the whole bumper or just do a spot paint and blend on it. I have the same color and Im just wondering. How much did it cost ya?

Yeah, the bumper looks aftermarket at a first glance.

I ended up painting the whole bumper because I had some damage to it. It didn't cost me much because a buddy and I did the bumper. The indention was filled with fiberglass and plastic filler/epoxy. It shouldn't be too difficult for a body shop. I estimate about $400-500 for spot painting and fill.

Shaving them looks ok on aftermarket kits, but stock kinda looks funny.

If you like...props then man...

Personally, i think that stock or aftermarket bumpers are lacking something w/o the emblem. I usually like emblems removed...but on the Z's its almost too bare then or something?

When I get my ings+1 LX lip I def plan on shaving the front. Kbomb's car looks tight as hell with the lip and the shave. Big ups to shavers!!

Even to me it looks slightly bare right now, but I think it will look fine once I put my grill back on. I'm also adding a varis duct so it will compensate for the "missing" look.

i think that the front license plate breaks up the front end enough to look decent on this one...or maybe it's just the angle...

I guess I am one of the few that likes to have some trim on the car. I see hondas and acuras driving around with shaved front and back and it looks wierd IMO. It's the same feeling when someone decides to shave our Zed door handles. It just looks plain and looks like something is missing.

But if this makes you happy, then that's cool.

PS: It's ironic that you shaved the badge from the front but are thinking of putting an air duct that needs 4 screws sitting in front to keep it on the car. Seems you shaved something from the front bumper only to add something else to it.

Well, I've wanted to add an air duct for a while now, but didn't see it happening because of how cluttered the front would look with a badge right next to it. I just don't see why we need such a massive nissan sign on the front of the car. I would have probably just kept it if it was smaller.

Not on the Z. Save the shaving for your girlfriend. And, if you're concerned of everyone's opinion on that, you can show pictures and let us decide.
