It's a little cheaper at Courtesy parts. Not much though.

Good thread Karl. I just bought some 06' tails I'll post pics when I get them. Everytime Im behind my GF in her 06' Im always like "damn those are bright" -they are wayyyy bright and annoying to be behind in traffic but thats good safety! Now if the headlights werent such an **** raping Id get them.

nice ...

yeah IMO the 06 headlights aren't worth it. It's definitely a night and day difference between the bulb and LED taillights.

Having seen my car and hers next to each other facing an open field at night, her head lights are MUCH brighter. Her beam pattern is even better than mine which I considered good, and they are simply awesome. I def want them for those night time 150+mph blasts but damn $1200 for lights is a boning...

Good find. Not sure why ebay makes it difficult to find an item. You'd think if you typed in "350Z LED Taillights" it would return the right product.

$405 shipped is about how much I paid before Perf. Nissan marked up their prices.

True story. Yesterday I was stopped at a light at night and this older lady behind me was actually shading her eyes like the sun was blinding her. I actually felt sorry for her and let off my brakes and pulled my e-brake up. I didn't realize these LEDs were that bright .

Installed my 06' Tails last night. Took about 10 minutes total. I love the look, much different than my IMO meaner looking 03' tails with overlays. My car looks much more "innocent" now but its a nice change. Love how bright these things are....for anybody taking them off, pull the bottom of the lights out away from the car then remember there is a clip near the top. I pulled the bottom too far out on one side and broke one of the tabs on the 03' light near the top, no biggie, it would still work/set in fine if I went back to those, just a dumb mistake and a heads up for you guys.

Same thing happened to me. Took me like 10 minutes just to get the broken piece out. Another way not to break them is to pull the skinnier part away first then work your way down.

Just installed mine today. I was extremely careful and tried not to force anything. Still I broke a tab off of the first one I removed. I broke the tab on the side bottom. Oh well It will probably work fine if i went back. Gonna go take a look at them now (since its dark outside)

Anyone want to buy my old ones?

I was amazed to at how much better they look. You have no idea until you see them in person. Out the things I have done definitley one of my favorite mods.

I am prone to breaking stuff, I hope my install goes without a hitch. Any other tips to avoid any damage?

Pull the skinny end first out from the car NOT up. Then work your way down.

Actually it's more in between out and up if that makes any sense.

Nope, there's actually 20 little bulbs (LEDs) in each light. Just make sure they're 2006 OEM 350Z LED taillights. All you need is a 10mm socket wrench and a flat head screw driver. Read the first page for details.
