Default Just got a Z, what's on the rear window?

I bought it used so I'm not sure if all of them come with it but there is some weird stuff on the inside of my whole rear window. It's not tint and it feels kinda rough. Does your Z have this? What is it? Any ideas if not?

Well these aren't little lines or anything. It's kinda like soft/rubbery stuff that covers the whole back window. It actually makes it a little hard to see out of.

Sounds like a poor mans tint job or maybe it's an anti-glare coating or something.

Anti-glare sounds reasonable. It's nothing like tint.

I think it may be a different way of "tinting" your window. Instead of putting a darker film, they use small sticky rubber pieces to block out a percentage of the window.

In the end, the effect is the same, less light into the car.

I don't have it, so I have no idea how good/bad this stuff is.

LOL! I didn't either. I tried twisting it off one time, but it was too hard. Man, I'm glad I didn't break it.

I've seen it on one car, Tako's Z (when he still had it).

I've been trying to do a search for it, but I don't know what to look for.
