I like this setup (minus the green paint). For me, I'm 5'9" only and i've been thinking of doing a car pc, with a 7" touchscreen in the nav cubby. HOWEVER, from my comfortable driving position, the screen would be like an inch too far away to reach comfortably without moving in my seat. This type of setup would def solve that. Not to mention is looks very factory (,....again minus the baby poo green paint)

 

i dont know about alot of money.. im thinking about sellin the car and if i do that, im gonna part it out i think

Here's a little better picture of the yellow Z's gauges/dash for anyone interested. Looks like he has changed the steering wheel since the picture was taken.

 

This is mine that was done by Nazar and Justin at www.wickedcas.com. The opening in front of the screen is a pair of center channel speakers.

 

That is a HUGE screen in the yellow Z...I likey!

I also remember seeing another Z with the instrument cluster relocated...It was even moe unique in that each gauge was individually wrapped to mimic the gauge pod in the center...i'll try to find the pic

 

It is a Sparco X FAST... we had the Nismo CF in the car but since Sparco was a sponsor we replaced it with Sparco... I honestly don't think you can beat the Nismo stuff... it fits better than stock but the CF panel in the **** spins and drives me crazy...

As for the dash... that's an Eclipse 7" molded in the dash... I have a 7" in my cubby and my center isn't painted for one reason GLARE
