Hi gents,

I would like to ask for option/suggestion on where to put the seat belt buckle...

I am purchasing pole position seat to replace my recaro suede type-R seats now and I am thinking where should I place those seat belt buckles...

Do you think I can be able put those buckles through one of the harness holes at the side? Or just leave the buckles right beside the seats (but will that be safe)?

I have enclosed a picture that shows that the buckle was actually put through one of the seat belt holes and it looks nice that way.... and probably safer???

Any suggestion is welcome! Thanx in advance!

also found one member did this a while back... but is it easy to unbuckle the seat belt at that position???

youcan run the belts inside the seat, so its closer to the hip, you just have to unbolt the lower seat belt bolt and run it thru the seat...

 

oh man those porsche seats are insane....

Do you think I will need to modify the seat belt buckle bracket to make it go "around" and run through the seat?! and will it be a good idea to play around with this safety device?!
