front/rear are strikingly similar to the ings half-kit, and the full bumper one looks similar to the vertex.

there is no full-rear? the pic shows the half-rear for both.

Doesn't seem like anything too special. Plus I'm sure it will cost an arm and a leg anyway.

Only the Front bumper/lips are different. Sides and rear are same for both, hence there's only $100.00 price difference between them at MSRP.

No Urethane. FRP only.

PRICE IS CRAZY CHEAP COMPARED TO INGS/AMUSE/ETC

Check there for pricing. We're doing a preorder promo.

thanks, Rishie

Idk rickdogg, although they do look insanely similar to the ings and vertex kits, i really wouldn't call origin a "replica" company personally. Doesn't Chunky bai own and design Origin?

Wald Rear bumper? "...sincerest form of flattery." Similarity aside, I think it looks good. For the price point, this may be a seller. What's the background on Origin as a company?

Here's their US website guys:
http://www.origin-lab.com/about.php
Looks like a legit JDM company. I'd definitely consider the kit if I was in the market for a body kit.

An SC sporting Origin bumper. Design looks to be carried over to the Z.

Looks the same to me. Ings +1 half kit, with vents in the sideskirt. And a Vertex front.

Wonder what the design studio is like? A desk with different body kit catalogs?

If thats not a replica...what is?

Well, when the word replica rolls off the toungue, in Body Kit terms, usually I equate a US company making molds from a piece that came off of a mold created from scratch. Or simply: REPLICA=U.S. KNOCK OFF. This is how I interpret it.

Interpreting with Websters, yeah, we get REPLICA=COPY, which is probably how you're interpreting it.

This raises a question that I couldn't imagine possible. Obviously, the designs borrows a lot from other company's... but the parts don't come off molds made from making it off a piece coming from the original mold, but... would you consider this as a JDM replica? Even if they are using original molds and they come from Japan. Ings and T&E obviously spent time during the creative process and aero testing (if it was done). Or better yet, would you put Origin and Shine (makers of the Varis air duct replica) on the same level? Some food for thought.
