That IS the Nismo diff cover. It has cooling fins, as opposed to the plain stock one. It's more of a performance oriented "Ooo, cool" piece, as opposed to a showy gloss black painted "Ooo, cool". To each their own.

I think the folded bumper looks pretty mean with a single-exit exhaust. I'm not sure how I'd like it with a dual exhaust or single canister, but I'd like to see it!

as a matter of fact i do:

i used about 5 self tapping screws, and smal flat washers to hold the bumper to the aluminum support beam. the current exhaust is only temporary.

Since that exhaust is only temporary then ill take it once your donw with it.

Remove the splash guards. It looks more aggressive without them from the rear.

That's hot.. i think i'm going to try this.. i got a lot of bling-bling hardware under the car in the rear.. probably an excellent way to reduce some drag on the car too if you don't have a muffler that quite fits perfectly in the OEM location..

what if I just take a dremel and cut it off?

That's what I originally thought people were doing, but folding it is much easier and less risky, not leaving any rough or potentially crooked edges.

The nismo exh. covers everything already but it would be easier to clean it.

BTW it is quite a pain in the **** to swap {even on a lift} because the pumpkin has to be lowered enough to remove the cover, but at least the axles don't have to be removed. All in all it's very worth it in the end.

*referring to the diff cover*

Now if only SOMEONE had taken some pics that day instead of getting high on cleaner fumes...

For some reason, it makes the rear end look wider.

I was planning on doing this back when I had my Z... I was gonna go with a single exhaust. I learned this trick from the SRT 4 guys... they do it all the time, except they don't need screws, just zip ties.

Tony (now no one's gonna do it because the Skittles do it)
