In my opinion....., unlike most z owners, painting the door handles just isnt enough. I would really love to shave them off. but, I realize that those vertical door handles are placed right on the edge of the door. No custom auto shop would want to go near them, its too hard to recreate the edge of the door, and at the same time have smooth door lines on the panel. has anyone seen a good shave job on a Z? if so, do you have pics?

yes thats my last name, but i was wondering if anybody has seen a 350 with shaved handles just curious to see how they come out, i think they would look great. but i'm worried about finding the right body man. its kind of a difficult shave job to do
I saw this a while back on the SPEED channel. Not really my thing but kinda cool none the less. It isn't completely flush like shaved handles but maybe it would interest you...http://www.lafranceautoworks.com/video/speedch-01.wmv

Yeah i've seen those door handles on Overhaulin' w/Chip Foose, he put them on that dodge magnum, I'm not a big fan of the shaved look on all cars, but i do think they would look good on a Z, especially a black Z. as for refrence on this forum, there is not too much on shaved door handles. i guess not many have done it.
