Default Rear Wiper Removal Thread

I searched for the rear wiper removal write-up someone had posted a while back and cannot find it. I'm looking specifically for the size of the plug used to fill the wiper motor hole in the deck. I kinda remember people saying they utilized the plugs that fit kitchen sink tops.

Am I correct?

I got this one from Home Depot. I took a look at those sink hole covers, that thing was huge! Just go to HD and you can see the size difference between the two.

Yeah, I had one of the sink hole covers on and it was kinda big (looked fine, though). t a recent meet, I noticed a much smaller plastic plug on another member's car and he sent me a couple. I'm not sure where to get them, but it's very low profile and looks perfect. I have an extra one if someone wants it; only catch is you have to dremel out the hole slightly to get it to go in right (not so much that it would mess anything up if you put the wiper back on). The one I have is painted silver, but can easily be repainted. For anyone that's ok with the larger sink hole cover, I also heve one of those painted silver that goes right on with no dremeling needed.

How big is the space you have to cover up anyway? What is the minimum diameter required for the plug to cover the whole properly?

I think the low profile cover I have on now is only about 1.25" dia. The hole is maybe a tad under an inch.
