Would they have to remove the hood to just paint and clear coat it? can someone give me an idea what this might cost?

 

im gettin my Seibon TS hood painted CS and the bodyshop charged me $250. I got it down to $200 which is pretty good. I would assume its easier for them to paint the hood off. Good luck!

 

Yeah, taking the hood off is not a bid deal. It's only 4 bolts. 200-250 seems good

 

Are you having the underside done? I have the SEIBON VT and wasn't happy with the finish product on the underside. Considering my car is silverstone I had three coats of clear put on top and the bottum painted black. I had the two sections where the battery and brake cover go painted blue to match the covers to appear as a reflection. Also with Sparco hood pins and install $500. The clear coat as I was told is to help not make the hood turn yellow as I have seen with other carbon fiber hoods that stay in the sun alot.

 

Thamks, I thought it was just the hood but now Im going to need the roof painted also now.
