Do a search for LEDs. That the best route imo.

The LED's available from the two vendors I've used have lives measured in use at about 300 hours. If I could just reach inside and change them out when they burn out I wouldn't mind so much but changing them involves jacking the car up removing the tire and inner fender well. Not something that I want to do every month.

Oddly enough the 168 bulbs are the ones that are burnning out every month or two and the turn signals up at the top of the headlight assembly are doing just fine. The vendors are saying heat is the problem which doesn't explain the ones in the rear license plate burning out too or the festoon bulbs in the overhead light.

I got dollars against doughnuts that the LED designs are poorly done and they're over driving the emitters too hard causing them to smoke in very short time.

The White Inverted Cone Wedge Base LED give the same look except they're legal since they are white.

We offer a killer bulb (life time warranty) stealth silver. $22.95 for the headlamp, and $27.95 for the rear, I know there a little more than the LED ones, But they will last alot longer. They are not on our website, but you can call and order them.

Oh I forgot! I have the same HID White Inverted Cone Wedge Base LED for my plate light as well. With the wedge type they aren't as bright as Dragone's. I perfer it just to be lit (legal) not so bright where 5 cars back can read you plate at light.
