Default Lowering driver's seat???

Hi. I'll be posting my pics soon enough. Here's my question.
I'm 6'4''. I fit in my 05 Z but just barely. My legs are fine, more than fine. But if I sit up straight and tight in the chair my head (hair rather) just barely touches the roof. Leaning the seat back just makes it tighter. I had an 03 before my 05 and it seemed that there was more room. Could be the seat was just packed down some. Anyways, how could I lower the seat? I really only need a few inches.
Are there any simple-ish solutions any of you tech geniuses out there could offer me?
I know it's a bit weird, this question, but it's really important.
I'll search some more on the site just in case I missed something.
Another question, I'm sure it's here but I'll ask it anyways and **** off some of you vets: How much would it cost to switch out my cloth seats for leather?
Thanks
peace
shoni.

Yo. Thanks a lot.
I called them up and found out that you have to have aftermarket sidemount seats for the rails to work.
You probably knew that.
So now the question becomes: What are the most comfortable aftermarket seats?
I'll search around.

thanks all
peace.
