Ok so, obviously there has been a ton of discussion with regards to the Nismo body kit and 2006 owners. I am not here to complain. I have been searching for the perfect kit and it is apparent that choice is somewhat restricted at this point due to my model year. That being said, the only one I ever really come back to and want, that is, the one that I feel is right for me, is the Nismo kit (front/sides/rears).
Now, it seems that all the other parts are a go without concern. Obviously the front states '03-'05. However, I have noted on other sites, two interesting statements.
Firstly, this kit (including front lip) will fit the '06 no problem. Scratch that, as it is obviously not the case.
Secondly, that the front will fit if "molded on" during installation. If that is the case, then it sounds like I can order and work with my shop to get the front addition to fit on to my existing front.
Is this the case? Is there anyone out there with any direct experience or suggestions? I have heard of members pulling off their front ends and replacing it with an '05 however, I don't want to take this route. If the front piece can be "worked on" and look visually pleasing, then I am ok with that. I would rather employ this method, then settle for a kit that I know deep inside I am not passionate about.
I apologize if this has been discussed directly before. This post was as much as a method to vent as to gather opinion, detail and information. As you can see by the time, I have been searching long into the night and my last resort was to let out my concerns.

A good body shop can make anything fit. If people can put Supra taillights on just about any POS econobox, they can certainly make an '05 lip fit an '06 Z.

That looks awesome but...
I just really want a lip. + I have a different grille installed and it doesn't look like it would fit that full bumper. Again, love the look of that but just not what I am going for...man this is driving me nutz lol.
*begs the nismo gawds for '06 front lip...
Think I will just have to work with my shop to get it to fit...
Thanks guys.
