Default Painting Headlights

This seems to be the new craze lately for Zs, but a question came to mind: Is everyone using a gloss finish paint or a flat, matted finish paint? I figure this may be a preference thing, but perhaps there was a benefit in one type or the other?

Both work well, I went for semi gloss which is in the middle of flat and gloss.

I usually always do all my own mods, but on a scale of 1-10 - how hard is it to do yourself? I really dont want to screw anything up...

I haven't got a chance to do this on the Z yet, but I did it on my Stealth before. I was scared sh!tless to put the lamps in the oven, but the whole job turned out to be a lot easier than i thought. As long as you don't go into it too intimidated i would say this is a 4 with 1 being the easiest. It's just time consuming, because you have to take the bumper off.

DOOO IT
