Some questions:
Do these replace or stick on the stock door sills?
Are these 1x1 or 2x2 weave?
Are they smooth, ie, no Z logo or the three notches?
By the way, EVO-R on thier website says they are on "version 2" and the fitment is better than the previous version. They also have a picture showing flexibility, and say you should use the stock door sill Z emblem on them. Theirs are full replacement. Perhaps those with poor fitment had the first version?

^+1...My past experience with carbons sills is the manufacturer used too thin of material. There was no consideration in the thickness of the stock door sills so it didn't fit as clean as the OEM sills. It would be good idea to use a layer of fiberglass under the carbon to give it the OEM thickness and prevent it from warping/twisting. Another issue with aftermarket carbon door sills is that 3M is needed to apply these sills as the OEM utilize built in clips. The problem with this is that the 3M tape causes the door sills to stick up and out ...

Couldn't we transfer the silver plate from the stock sills so we could still use the illuminated sill covers?

Whats the latest word on these! Are you gonna wait to get 25 people or is there a deadline. I want a set now and dont really want to wait to fulfill the 25 person quota.
