Does anyone have rear window louvers installed on your Zs? I just got some and turned them into the body shop to get painted. I've seen pictures and think they can look pretty sick, but my roommate is giving me all kinds of **** and saying its very ricer. I'm going to put them on, and look forward to it, regardless of what anyone else thinks. I just wanted to get some feedback so I can shut my roommate the fck up.

I think they are pointless and look stupid. Just my opinion, do what you think looks best. You're the one that needs to be happy with it, f*ck what anyone else thinks.

 

Louvers belong of Old F-Bodies, not the Z.

 

I think if I see some pics, I can decide from there

If done right, it could look sick as hell.

Bottom line is, it's YOUR car and do what makes YOU think it looks good.

These were popular on hatchbacks in the 80s. I had them on my '77 280Z. Now that the 80s are over, they just don't belong and will ruin sleek lines of the 350Z. In my opinion, a nice tint job will look much better.

You don't see anything out of the already small window anymore. I think they are dangerous...

 

So, I got the louvers back from the paint shop today, and installed them...they looked horrible, so i immediately removed them. I almost took pics to post, but decided i didn't even want anyone to see them. They totally f up the already beautiful lines of the Z. Lesson learned; repeat after me "I will not put stupid **** on my Z!"

I'm just going to throw them away, I don't even have the heart to try to sell them to some unsuspecting schmuck with little taste. Guess I'll call stillen and see if i can return them after they've been painted, but they'll probably just laugh at me.

 

Uv been punished enough for ur past sins against nature---Use them to hang on ur wall as modern art and a reminder of past temporary insanity.

 

Can't say they look 100% disgusting... it could work if you had the right body kit and spoiler to match it. I dunno.
