Default where to get

I'm looking for a clear bra in IL. I had one on my 2k2 Maxima, but some jackass hit my car, and the body shop can't find a new one to put on. I don't really have any contact with the guy who sold me the car, who I assume put the orrigional bra on. Thanks for any info.

Question

Sorry for the stupid question, but could someone explain what and how a clear braw works? I know what a normal bra is.

Thanks.

Here is mine before the bra was Zaino'd, from about 15 feet away:

A "clear bra" is basically a clear film applied to the front end of the car to protect it. See the stuff right in front of the rear wheels on a stock Z? That is basically the idea. The 3M film is clear coated, and you can wax right over the top of it. I have the X-Pel kit. There are several other kits.

More close ups:

See the line on the hood?:

Line around the headlights (lights also covered):

Thank you very much! Great photos! My question is, with this on, you can no longer wax the paint? Will it become oxized? (sp) since it can't breathe? Also can the clear bra be removed easily? Lastly where can it be purchased and how much is it?

Thank you again

You can wax the film as I said above, but obviously can't wax the paint. With the film stuck on The film is supposed to be easily removed with a solvent to loosen it up.

You can buy your own kit at http://www.invinca-shield.com/ , and they have an installer list there as well. I got a http://www.xpel.com/ kit. There are others.

The installs aren't supposed to be easy for DIY.
