Default Cracked mudflap Help!!!

I ran through what i thought was a puddle at work today in the parking lot, turned out to be a huge pothole. As you can see it was so deep it hit my rear mudflap and cracked the side. I'll eventually get a new one, but for the time being, any suggestions how to fix this? The crack is only on the side, and i don't want it flapping around, and i don't want to remove them. I'm thinkign JB weld on the inside where the two parts come together. Then try to use touchup paint to hide the crack on the outside. Any ideas?

How about some clear tape? If you are going to eventually replace it, just use some tape for the time being.

Just buy a new set. They're around $50 from Courtesy or Performance.

Answered my own question. That's cheap for a set painted! Figured i'd have to buy one and pay out the butt to get a shop to paint it. Thanks!
