Mystery Stud in Driver Rear Quarter
Just received car back from Nissan after they did the Fuel Filler / Vent Hose
recall work and I noticed there was a stud on a bracket in the left rear quarter panel / wheel well area out in open air.
WTF? I figure Nissan left off a panel that should go in the wheel well. I'm like until I go to the dealer and look under 5 or 6 350Z's new and old.
They all have this mystery stud with nothing mounted to it.
The only thing I can figure is it is for the aero panels that come on the track version. What do you guys say? Here is a picture:
I figure some panel should go in that gap .... but no, all Z's I have seen are missing something here. If it's Aero. I'm buying it just for dirt deflection. If not, I'm going to bend some plastic to keep dirt, mud and water out of this area.

We'll at least I didn't title it "What do I do with this stud?" I would never have survived the comments. Lol

It seems to be as all the other models I have looked at does not have this peice. Now, I have to find a track model to see what it is.
Or, if you have a digital camera .... can you snap a shot and post it here please?
