Buy the carbon fibre body from nismo and an all carbon race body. Gut the whole car but the essentials. Or buy a Lotus Elise and tt it.

My JIC single 3" was 9.8lbs....OP contrary to popular belief 06's DO NOT weigh more than other year Z's. We had a local track day with Z's and weigh a doezen cars or more. 06' Z's were on par with 03's and in 2 cases lighter than them. Dunno why Nissan claims more weight scales dont lie. Most were 3220-3240lbs, lightest was 3180lbs....

Very interesting info, Alberto. I wonder why Nissan would announce anything about the weight increase in the first place then?

*Take out the AC
*Dry carbon hood, fenders, doors, trunk,
*lightweight glass
*Titanium exhaust system
*gut out interior (or do what I'm going to do replace the parts with dry carbon )

Well thats just off the top of my head.

I can't believe nobody mentioned this yet, but wheels. There are definitely lighter wheels than the stockers.
