Seibon Carbon Fiber Vs2 hood not latching right? HELP!
It seems the part that latches is alittle shorter then the oem hood by about 1/2 of an inch. Is that enough for it not to connect into the latching meganism? Right now it just latches onto the part that just holds it but it still moves freely alittle. Anyone know? Someone at vivid racing said I could adjust the hood latch. Here is a pic if someone could just paint circles around the bolts I need to loosen.

don't uninstall the latch - i had the same problem, so what I did was loosen up these three bolts and had someone else pull up on it as hard as they could while I tightened the bolts back down. It fit perfectly after that, haven't had any issues. Although I would recommend getting hood pins as an added safety feature. I drove down the highway a lot more comfortably once I had those.

no - i have the seibon TS hood, when I saw the piece you are talking about I was like wow... I can't believe that... and mine wouldn't even go into the latch at all. So after I did that it worked like a charm. Closes tight every time

not sure what to tell ya man... I had the exact same problems as you and this is what I did and it worked for me. Have you got it aligned correctly and far enough forward?
Any body shops still open that are nearby you could run it to?

just Ream out the holes where the bolts go with a drill bit. you will be able to move the latch a half an inch in any direction... I had the same problem.. Remove the latch from the car before you start drilling.....
