Our headliner is pretty stiff and I was wondering if anyone has made a mold of the headliner and made a carbon fiber headliner. I think with the headliner being so stiff it might be pretty easy to make a mold to make a CF one. What do you guys think?? Would look really awesome with the EVO-R CF interior kit. Sick or stupid????
I'm going with a suede headliner myself. I think that would be a too much carbon personally. Aslo, at night I would think the lights from pick-ups, SUVs, and Semis would shine a little too much in the inside. If you like the idea though go for it. I think something that sized would have to be vaccum bagged which would make it pretty expensive for a one-off though.
i thought about dong mine...but i was gonna do it using silver cf...well its not real cf but whatever, it look the same but silver....i decided to do it in suede instead cuz i didnt feel like doing all the work. i think it would look nice, everyones got their own opinion.
i did my own headliner in suede, it's not hard. especially if you do not have a roll cage like i do, then its even easier. you don't need to do any stitching, so anyone can do it...
