Here ya go. We're still down to replicate this, but I guess you guys want it to be SUUUUPER rare. Hey, we tried before, but there wasn't enough interest.

Yes it's the front bumper only. And the price is fairly reasonable, which is why I ask why people buy replicas for nearly the same price.

However, shipping is what kills it. Not cheap to ship it over here from Japan. I inquired my importer about this bumper. Hopefully I can work something out since it says seller does not ship internationally.

i've been looking at this for a while as well. Shine was trying to help out with the purchase and make it available for everyone here in the US, but unfortunately we didn't get enough interest.

I think this is one of the best looking kits for the Z out there, it's like a subtle version of the Top Secret Wide Body (front bumper).

What kills it is the shipping, a bumper can cost around $400+ to ship it to the US. That's why the only economical solution would be to do a group buy, have Shine mold it and produce it. To me this makes more sense, what if I happen to crack the original bumper and can't replace it anymore because of no availability? i'm stuck with an incomplete kit.

Yup, that's why I like about this front bumper. Looks like a "normal" version of the TS wide body front bumper.

And shipping IS definitely what kills it. In the auction above, the seller doesn't even ship internationally, so that's one more hurdle to overcome.

My shop/importer has agreed to negotiate with the Japanese seller and is willing to help me with freighting/importing the bumper here. However, I just want to find out what material Kei Office uses? Anybody know?

It's fiberglass for sure. Most japanese aero parts are made the same. There are only a handful of manufacturers that most of the aero companies outsource too.

Yes the bumper is very cheap, because it is not popuar in Japan. As I've said before, the bumper was on there for AWHILE. I don't think they have 10 lying around either. They might have only 3 in stock.

People buy our replicas because we construct it better and make it readily available AND in the end, it IS cheaper.

Most likely not. There are others doing top secret items. They would probably be your best bet.

Does anyone else see a resemblance to the vortex bumper?

Might be easier to just modify the vortex. Less headaches.

That Kei bumper is one clean front end. If Shine does produce it, I'd be definitely interested. I have their Vertex replica sides and I'm very happy with the fit and quality of them. On top of that, I've met Ken in person and he's a real stand up guy. Even took the time to show me around the shop and talk to me like a regular person, unlike some other sponsors I've visited. Plus he's local hehehe!

I realy wasnt in the market for a kit until I saw this, one point I was toying arround going wide body but for performance aspects it isnt realy worth it. I was wanting the TS wide body which is damn close to this one.

If Shine did a replica I would definately buy one. Yeah some people are wanting to keep it rare, they are retarded. This thing is extinct. It seems to me those comments came mainly from people who already had kits and didnt want to buy another nose.

A good point was mentioned earlier, since this thing is out of production and unobtainable (for most people) if you did get it and eventualy *** it up then you are stuck. Im all for an FRP replica.

The whole vertex looking like the Kei Office kit is like saying Madona looks like Sarah Jesica Parker. Yeah they are both chick and blond, but other than that nope.

If you start a GB what would be the buy in # and what would be the cost?
