Default cf roof pieces (pics)

heres some pics of some cf stuff i am currently working on for another member on here...they are the moldings that run over the windows on the roof of the z. they still need a little work but theyre almost done.

Looks nice, needs a few more layers of resin then clearcoat. What type of resin system are you using and are you vacuum bagging it?

yea i know...i still have to sand and then more resin but u get the idea of how they are going to look...no vacuum bagging...resin is system three

they will only be heavier (but not by much) as those are actually original parts wrapped/laminated with CF + resin...

yea they will be heavier but not much...making pure cf pieces would be very tricky...these are for looks only...cf is still very light so i would guess that they weigh at the most 1 lb. more each.

yea if i had a year's worth of free time i would...jk.
i actually want to try making molds and make pure cf pieces...maybe in the summer when im not so busy at work i willl...i really want to though.

Yes. The only company that currently sells them is Top Secret. Have fun paying $500 + and waiting for months.

looks like a waste of money to me... I'm not a big fan of carbon fiber anymore, just looks tacky
