Hi everyone,

I did a search for this problem, but couldn't really find anything.

Basically, when I push the fuel door release on my 04 Z, it makes a really loud buzzing sound from back by the fuel door and I have to push the switch multiple times to get the door to actually release.

Has anyone had this problem before? Is the release motor bad? (I'm assuming there is a motor back there.)

Id have to look it up but it should just be a solonoid, If its buzzing loudly I suspect that its shot. Just make sure ur door is properly aligned and not binding

If its buzzing loud ---Then it is the solinoid assy trying to do its job and cant ---Its just vibrating
