Default Rear hatch open?

Is there a button in my 06 Z to open the rear hatch? I have not found one yet.

there is (1) on your key fob. (1) hidden above the lisence plate. and (1) hidden underneath yer rear strut brace. there isnt one near the drivers seat.

No button. Just pull the dingleberry on the end of the cable under the strut brace. I removed mine because it's dead weight. In 3 years I've never even thought about using it.

BTW, your owners manual is full of worthwhile information.

yeah, I know but I'm at work for my 7 day hitch and the manual is not with me. I was bored and figured I would ask.

And yes I do deserve being flamed for the dumb question

350Z: Inside fuel filler release, no hatch release.

G35: Inside hatch release, no fuel filler release.

Both built in Japan by Nissan. Go figure!
