I cracked mine but only because i misjudged the curb when i pulled up to the parking spot. But the bumper is still intact and paints not chipping. I'm thinking of picking up another bumper if i get an 07. I got mine from kurumaz.com. I think the car looks good without side skirts. But if you get side skirts i think the jdm nismo skirts look best.

I've rolled over 30K miles on on my Aerosync bumper... bottomed out a few times and it still looks great! no cracks ect.

JDM Nismo skirts and rears really flow with this bumper... you be the judge.

2 low Z-

you can remove the plastic pieces I circled below (you have to open the pic to see the circles). They're held in by 2 or 3 clips. You can see them if you look up from below. Should take all of 5 minutes with a flat-bladed screwriver. Looks much better afterwards

Are all these bumpers in urethane or fiberglass as well? With the low clearance of the bumper I would not even bother with the fiberglass but my only concern ever would be the flex/spiderwebbing in the paint from contact.

Awsome bumper and as soon as the Summer season is here the body mods will follow.

Thanks, actually I took them out when I installed the grill. Also I installed the Evo R intake tube as well.

I think they hold the foam pieces in behind the bumper.

I'm getting this bumper put on my Z but the body shop says that the ground clearance is going to be very tight. I'm running hotchkis springs and stock 18 inch wheels, Do you guys think this is going to put my front end very close to the ground. Is there any one in here in the same predicament I am.

i'm lowered about an inch and a half and i scrape everywhere i go. this bumper is freaking bulletproof almost though, i've hit stuff and scraped it hardcore but it's resiliant as ever. it really depends on where you live though...

I have 19's and hotckis springs and sways. it's low, but not that bad. I do avoid speed bumps and you must be more alert to those types of things. It is still worth it to me.
Good Luck!

tell them to stop being a bunch of sissies

I have the bumper on my car (see above pics), and am lowered around 2 inches.

As long as you don't drive the car like you would an SUV and excersise some prudent care, you will be fine. You should not be hitting speedbumps at any more than a crawl in any car short of a truck (IMHO).

Thank guys for the advice. I look at your pic's "Z1 Performance" and if you are lower as much as you said you are, I think I'm going to be okay. How you can avoid speed bumps all the time, you guys haven't encounter a situation were the only way to get to a place is by going over a speed bump, How did you handle this situation?

I have 10 sets of speed bumps in my development that I even crawl over in my Audi they are so big. I simply crawl over em, at a slight angle, and no issues. I also have a tow hook in the back of my car ( for track days) that is so low, my cell phone is taller than its distance to the ground, and it does not even rub when I go slow (literally a crawl). Sometimes the people behind me beep...oh well, not going to rush over a bump to scrape things
