I have heard that the Seibon leaves a rather unsitely large gap between the roof and the top of the hatch . As well the hatch does not meet the latch well, with gaps that vary between the (Seibon) hatches.

interesting. Does anyone have this problem? I have never seen it, but if its true I'm sure Seibon would like to know.

Look up any of the threads I started with pics of my car and you can see the Seibon Hatch fitment. Although Seibon is not bad, it is definitely not perfect by any means. On mine, the section of the hatch closest to the roof (on the driver side) is not symmetrical with one coming down way too much with the angle not matching the OEM roof line. The driver side of the hatch also tends to sit higher than the passenger side just a tad. Volk350z also has similar problems to mine with his being "short" and has a major gap from the hatch to the roof line. Mine does not have that gap, but it just depends on which hatch you get from Seibon.

All in all they don't look bad. I just can't believe you would spend all of that money on CF and then you go ahead and paint it. The beauty of CF is in the weave. IMO. The cars do look great though. Thanks for sharing buddy. Anyone else have fitment issues with seibon?

Why is it bad to paint cf? If its used for weight savings then its a great idea. I would love to put a cf hatch, but I would definitely paint it.

Everyone is getting same price. With ASUKA, there is a minimum advertised price which is way more than what I quote, that is why I am not publicly quoting prices.
