Default Grease on Tint?

What does the window grease do to window tint? Anything? I'm thinking about getting a tint job, but I won't if the grease ruins the tint. There are alot of tinted windows out there and alot of greasey windows as well.
Has anyone had to replace their tint?

I have tinted windows with the grease problem. Right now it looks like crap. I will be taking it in next week to have the grease issue looked at. I will let you know how it goes.

My 98 GTP has always had grease on the windows, and I put tint on that car day one. No problems. Mess just cleans right off.

I'm not seeing scratches as mentioned above on my Z, just light grease tracks.

It is poping up all over the place. I went to a meet yesterday, and another guy had the same exact problem.

Why wouldn't this be covered under warranty? It wasn't caused by the tint.

This is a long talked about issue. Supposedly, Nissan is going to release a TSB about it, but not a lot of people have had good luck actually getting it fixed.

My GTP has done this from day 1, and I just got in the Syclone to move it in the driveway, and it also has it (I hadn't really noticed before).

I think the difference that makes the Z a bit more annoying than some other cars is where the window track is. The smudge is right in the way of the mirror, where on my GTP and Syclone, it is farther up on the glass, and doesn't distract when using the mirrors.
