Clear Bra Problem-- Help!
I had a clear bra installed last week by a installer recommended by several on this board, and I've noticed areas with bits of sand or what look like metal shavings under the bra. I already notified the installer about the hood, which I noticed first due to there being 8 bits of sand in the same area, but now I've noticed the fender and the bumper with one bit of metal or sand each. The spots look white, due to the clear bra being pushed away from the car.
Question is, I know I'm having him redo the hood, but is it worth it/reasonable to get him to redo the fender and bumper too? The installer put the bra on in his facility, so I don't see how there should be this much crud under the bra, but maybe a bit here or there is acceptable, I just don't know where to draw the line.

If it were my install I would pull it off immediatly. Unfortunalty some things dont get seen until they leave the shop, but we alway replace any piece there is noticable contamination under. I would definitly have them redo the fender piece, on the Z the fenders easy, and if they are already redoing the hood the fender will be no sweat. otherwise its stuck for life
Can anyone recommend a good installer for clear bra in southern California area? I live in Oceanside which is about 35 miles north of San Diego. Name, phone number etc would be great! thanks, Jeff
I'm having my bumper redone tomorrow because it's starting to come up on the inside corners next to both headlights. Everywhere else the install was flawless.....what would cause this to happen?
I got the bra for free, but as long as it's on the car, I want it to look good.
