Z4 Style LED Z side Marker
#43
Z3 fenders = prominent upgrade
Angel Eye Headlights = prominent upgrade
Side emblem blinker = up and coming prominent upgrade
I'd like to see how it looks on the Z before passing judgement on it's style. If they can get a flatter version it might not stick out - but I don't even know if it sticks out at all. Amber would be cool.
Someone post pics when you get them installed. Keep us updated.

I don't like the whole idea. Cars in Europe MUST have side turn signals / indicators so this is just BMW's way of complying with that law while avoiding having a separate LED stuck under the BMW badge (and in fairness to them - they do a good job of combining them for that purpose). However, coming from the UK I am so pleased that I don't have to have side turn signal / indicators on my cars anymore now that I live in NY. I wouldn't want these things as it just plays to this stupid European paradigm.

I must admit, I like 'em... ...however...
...living in the UK we're stuck with having to have side repeater indicators...
...so I'm going to have a hole in the wings for the standard JDM style side repeater.
To be perfectly honest, I can't be arsed to remove the standard repeaters & install the new Z4 style repeater (too much Bondo & spraying on a new car)...
...but still a cool idea

I think it looks great, as long as theyre in amber. If theyre not to expensive im in! When are they comming out? whats the estimated price. Id say nicely under 100 id be in? sound reasonable y'all? Also how hard will they be to install, and how far will they stick out? And ya id want them to light up when they blink, or maybe always on, and blick too when blinker goes on, thats another possibility.

I refuse to believe they've prevented any and even if they have they still suck and it's nice to be rid of them. Most manufacturers don't do a good job of designing them - they just stick on a round or oval plastic cover with a bulb under it. An afterthought to placate the law. Shifting gear on you and changing subject - another thing I don't miss is the f#*king speed cameras man ! What is happening back there in Blighty ? I was in the UK at Christmas and they have taken over the whole country. Britain’s latest "poll tax" horror. No more GATSO's anymore - yeah !

I think BMW have found a 'pleasing' way of incorporating the side indicator into their advertising, though I would have liked Nissan to have thought of it too, especially as the JDM have side indicators too!!!!!
The bugger is, that, us europeans need to suffer, as it is more difficult to mount the blinkers on our cars..
Most of our GATSO's will be gone in a year or two I'm sure. (have you read the latest Swiss reports)
