ok this hood will be hitting my SC unit on one side only so I need to trim the vent back a few inches. option A just trim the one side option B trim both sides to make it look more clean.

I am leaning toward option B but wanted to get some feed back. yellow tape will be the area getting cut out. I thought it would look better shorten the distance on the second vent and leave the 3rd vent untouched

 

I'd do both sides Toby.. keep it looking symetrical.

Definately do both sides... it'll just look off having the one side done.

i'd sell that hood and get another one that you wouldnt have to cut...

one that has more centered vents.. like the Cwest...

if you end up cutting the vents, may i suggest you add a little lip or wedge infront of the first vent as to push the airflow up and over, to help suck out more air.

I will be different.. I think I liked option A, but B would be more widely agreed upon by the Z community (as we can see from the replies so far).

I look forward to seeing the new updated ride. It has been ages since I have seen her.

Option A, i like to be different.

I'd def say Option A if the only cut was on the right side, Its more JDM.

 

Option A --different and catches th eye because of it. Of course, I like running against the herd!
