hey, does anyone know if the varis intake duct lines up with the tube going to the stock airbox? I looked on splparts.com and it looks as though it does. I was thinking of ordering this piece but only if the duct lines up with the box tube so as to draw cold air from outside and force it into the box, a sort of ram air affect. Thanks to any and all replies.

 

There is no difference between the 06 and the other year cars where that is concerned. EVO-R makes a piece that joins the duct with the stock intake duct.
