Default window messed up after tint...

Got my windows tinted the other day and now they physically wont go down the half inch or so when you open the door. The switch in the door jam still works and you can manually push the window down, and it will come back up when you close the door. And it works fine otherwise when you roll it all the way down and up. It just wont drop when you open the door. It's like there is something holding it in place. Would the thickness of the tint cause it to bind? I tried to reset it with the reset button in the door panal. And i have reset the ECU. Nothing will work. I have taken the problem up with the shop, and the owner is gonna have her husband look at it on monday. But they are tint only shop, an di really donw want anyone but a nissan dealer to look at it. Can i make them take it to a dealer?? Thanks!! Sorry i know this is kinda a re-post/follow up, but i'm really p#$%^d and i'm not sure what angle i should take here. Thanks!

P.S. I had no window problems at all before it went in the shop to get tinted. And it's both windows.

I've never heard of that happening before. Lots of members here have side window tint and no reports of problems. I hope you get it fixed.

sounds like the tint shop jacked up the motor of your window. You might as well suck it up and take it to the dealer, instead. isn't that cover on the warranty?

i'm out of my bumper to bumper warranty. I'll have it taken to the dealer. Not sure bout it being the motor. They work fine normally, just no drop when i open the door. And both to die at the exact same time??

Atlantic shoreline. And i've done lots of business with them over the years with other cars, and always had good results. I think i fixed it today doing the window reset. It still doesnt seem to drop as far, but it clears the top of the roof which is the reason for the drop.
