Last one for now. Sorry for the crappy pics, but it was getting dark. I HAD to clean her up before I took the pics!

Cool, now your car looks even more like Skidazzle's, Christi!

I'm kidding, it looks awesome. I'm considering it for my Chrome Silver myself. What did it run you, and how painful was the install?

I got in on Bavaria's "pre sale" deal, so total, it didn't put too big a dent in my pockets. Install....well, let's just say I wouldn't want to do it again. Seriously, it wasn't THAT bad, but if you've got the stock spoiler, it's a ***** to get off. That double sided tape they use REALLY works!

Default Very nice!!

How's the fit and finish of the spoiler? I am going back and forth on this! Do you need to remove the weight from the trunk after installing the spoiler?

Thanks!
M.

it does look good, as the spoiler was the first thing i put on the car also... the rest of the body kit is what truely transforms the car, though...

are you planning on getting any other body parts, christi?

we need to get another meet planned... i am slammed for the rest of this month's weekends (work and trips to miami), but May is looking pretty open (but dont let that stop an April meet..!)

keep up the good work christi!

Just those LED sidemarkers someone said they'd put together for me!

We do need to put together an April meet, closely followed by a May meet. Now that I actually HAVE my car (and so many meets without it), I need to show it off! lol

I have been waiting months for my factory rear spoiler to arrive from Nissan and it finally did on Thursday. Now, I am not certain if I want to install it or get the Nismo replica from Gruppe-S and get it painted. Any general ideas what the cost may be to get the replica prepped and painted? At this point I am not certain what I want to do. I haven't found any good hires pics to the Nismo spoiler yet in Black. My biggest concern is the height to the base of the wing looking at it from the back. I am concerned that it looks "stuck on" rather than part of the car since the edge looks like it is rather tall.

Default Spoiler install

Speedracer :

Thanks for the info on removing the lip spoiler. Now I am on to install the Bavaria spoiler. I am looking at 4 empty holes in the spoiler base as well as 6 bolt heads (3 towards left side and 3 towards the right.) My kit came with no hardware or instructions. Where do I go from here?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I really like the nismo kit, and would get it from bavaria, if it didn't look like a glue on. I wonder why the nissan oem kits (nismo or even the oem splash guards) fit so much better than the aftermarket ones. It seems the aftermarket kits look good from far, but upclose you can see the gaps. Is it the manufacturing process or the material, that makes the difference?

You didn't get ANY bolts?!?!? I got four for the holes closest to each edge.

When you place the wing, you'll see that the two smaller holes line up to the spoiler's bolts. The other two holes that came from your OEM wing will have to be covered with somthing to prevent any leaking. (I used the same 3M tape that came off the OEM spoiler--that stuff sure did stick!)

Give me some time and I'll do a write up of exactly what hubby and I did to install the wing and I'll post it up. Sorry I can't do it now, but I'm stuck at work for another 2 hours.

Jack--I just noticed that wespack did a pretty good write of his install. It should be plenty to go on. And if you come up with any other questions, you can PM me or wespack posted his email.
