Sorry to hear about your fitment nightmare. As I originally stated, mine was an excellent fit - the pics below are of the initial "out-of-the-box" rough fit. As you can see, the gaps and seams were pretty darn good from the start. The mod markings were typical for both sides - not much at all. I did all the fitting and mounting work, (everything except painting) by myself. It came out very well, as the finished pics at the beginning of the thread show.
I can't explain why yours didn't fit well. I guess it's the difference in pieces that are hand laid-up. I must have gotten the one they did on a good day.

Same here - no cracks or issues using the stock mounting locations/fasteners. Just have the inevitable scrapes on the bottom corners from the lowered front clearance. I give the fitment a 9 out of 10.
