Here is a pic that skidazzle posted a while back...I hope to install mine soon. They add a cool "mood" to the inside of the car and can only be truly appreciated in person.

Every Z should have them,

I belive there are two kinds. One that turns on when your door is open and another that stays lit when you have the headlights on.

Those interior lights r great. And yes there are two kinds, and japanparts.com have them both.....clear (yellow) lights for when opening doors, and orange lights when headlights r on.

Default Would like to install...... but.....

I can't read Japanese instructions. I saw these were sold at Courtesy's web site. Does anyone know of a .pdf or .doc file that has been converted to English????

Don't want to hook the lights up the wrong way.

Thanks

There is an easier way to get lights in ur footwell. The foot well lights on Courtesy Parts come on when u open the door, and basically supplement the lighting from the over head map reading lights. Japanparts.com sell these too, but also orange lights which remain on while u drive. Since they rnt that cheap, a better way to do it would b to buy those TYPE R little LED lights. They r readily avialable here in Aus, should b the case too in US, and theyre like $20 AUS (even cheaper for u guys). U can hook em up to a basic switch u hide deep under the dash, or if ur electronically gifted, under the steering colomn to the headlight on circuits.

I just bought a set, and although the orange is brighter then the dash lighting, they still look good....and u can turn em off. I have red ones in my Alfa, and they get quite distracting after a few minutes.

anyone know which kit comes on when you open the doors, and which kit comes on with the headlights on? There is the interior illumination kit which is 150 and the footwell lighting kit which is 95.(japanparts.com) is one brighter then the other? i dont want it to be annoying. also is there any place else to purchase these kits?

The footwell lighting kit comes on with the doors and has white lighting. The interior illumination kit has amber lighting and comes with a switch that can be turned on at the drivers will while driving or can be wired to come on with the headlights. I have both kits and will be installing them in a month or so and I will post pics when it is complete.
