My car was keyed a few months ago and they ****ed up my headlights, I have an 05 touring. My bodyshop is ordering 06 headlights for me. I just need to know if that the 06 housings come with all the bulbs or do i use my current bulbs that I have in my 05 ones. Also if i heard correctly the 06's are a "Plug and Play" conversion right?

 

They do come with bulbs depending on where you get them... They are "semi" plug and play... There has been a lenghty discussion about 06 lights on a pre 06 Z...

 

And you don't know where it is either? Damn.

I've been looking for this "end all" thread myself. I have found one, but there is no precise or conclusive information about exactly what to expect to be done.

One of the threads I found is located here: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....hlight=MrZipps but it regards MrZipps conversions (which I am going to do) and does not include very exacting discussions on what must be done to fit '06 lights into previous models.

Does anyone know of another thread that the 3 of us may be missing?

 

06 units come complete, bulb included. Yes they just plug in factory harness like your current headlamp assm.
