I've seen a couple of mesh grills for the Z some of them look pretty good,but I was wondering if maybe these grills are taking away some air from getting to the engine. If you really look at them they are covering up a lot more then the stock one. Dose anyone think it could have an effect?

 

You'd might be suprised. Those things are closing up a lot of air.
